"A little shy on the nose, but bright citrus notes of lemon and orange peel, a hint of menthol freshness. Medium-weight but expansive, the initial fruit opening out onto a toasty, nutty back-palate with light, nicely balanced cinnamon, marzipan and cardamom hints. Melted demerara emerges on the finish but in good balance, and good length, complexity of shifting flavour notes."

"Limpid colour, with a greening rim and red-chestnut at the core. Pleasantly light burnt muscovado sugar aromas with dark clove spice and a little liquorice, backed by a light woodsmoke character. Richly flavoured, but not heavy at all on the palate, and there's a distinct note of barley sugar mid-palate. Very soft, almost unctuously appealing style, with additional touches of flamed orange peel adding interest."
